Herb Garden

Last year, we opted for a veg garden and tried our hand at potting all sorts. Tomatoes, raven squash, small italian eggplants, shishito peppers, and more.

It turned out we did not have much of a green thumb.

Dried, wilted, crumbled, and crushed. The veggies just never made it all the way.

So this year we settled on herbs. (Go on, pronounce it with a heavy, breathy H, like some British folks do, H-ha-herbs)

We now have a nice array of Mint, Parsley, Chives, Thyme, and Basil all set along our deck and are hoping that a steady hit of sun will keep these in-season, so our recipe test kitchen can try out a few new recipes.

Stay tuned, will report back.
Oh and salud! To the herbs!
